After making your own way to Waiheke Island—or perhaps staying here—begin your tour at the easy-to-find Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Admire the views of the Hauraki Gulf as someone else drives you to your first wine tasting and lunch in a vineyard. Continue to other island settlements and wineries throughout the afternoon, before ending at an ocean-facing vineyard. Opt to stay for dinner (own expense) or be returned to the wharf.

- ✓Or Stonyridge Vineyard - changes daily. Here you will enjoy a wine tasting, glass of wine and platter lunch - All venues subject to availability. If unavailable it will be replaced with a similar venue.
- ✓Head towards Onetangi, 1 1.87-kilometre long, north facing beach with old Pohutakawa trees on the foreshore. For many years it has been the site of the Onetangi Beach Races
- ✓Visit Oneroa village where you can walk along the beach, visit local art galleries and boutique shops or sit in a cafe/bar overlooking the bay
