This guided, narrated, educational tour of historic Charleston, South Carolina begins at the north side of the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, a colonial building with a 300-year history featuring pirates, patriots and presidents alike, located at 122 East Bay Street. Visit the city’s oftentimes forgotten alleys and hidden passages that barely pass for streets at all. See points of interest like Rainbow Row, the longest cluster of Georgian row houses in the United States, the Heyward-Washington House museum and much more, including St. Philip's Episcopal Church. - ✓We will explore between 4 to 6 alleyways as well as popular points of interest, some of which are located in the residential parts of the historic district we call "South of Broad".
- ✓Rainbow Row is just one of many stops in the "South of Broad" area. Please note that we do not go in to any buildings on our tours.
- ✓We will explore several points of interest throughout the historic district including 4 to 6 alleyways, some of which are located in the French Quarter area.
- ✓Philadelphia Alley is just one of several possible alleyways that will be explored. Please note that the stops along the tour vary per guide. Generally, you can expect to visit 4 to 6 different alleyways or lanes.
