Your Story Bridge climb begins at base headquarters at Howard Smith Wharves, 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. A guide walks the group through the route and safety procedures, then attaches you to the static line. From there, set off for the summit up the eastern side of the bridge, climbing a steep incline to a top platform—one of two high points, each around 262 feet (80 meters) above sea level. The reward is an uninterrupted, 360-degree view: the city skyline, the Brisbane River, Moreton Bay, the Glass House Mountains, and Mt. Coot-tha and Lamington National Park in the distance. Twilight departures catch the skyline as the light changes. From the central platform, traverse the width of the bridge above six lanes of traffic before returning to headquarters, where you receive one high-resolution group photo of your climb.
