What you'll see & do
- ✓First we are visiting the beautiful area around and with a view on the Santa Marija Battery in Comino. Build in 1715 by the order of Saint John, it is 1 of 3 surviving costal batteries of Gozo & Comino. Explore the beautiful underwater world and stunning clear water.
- ✓The Blue Lagoon stop includes the opportunity to step onto Comino if you want to stretch your legs, enjoy the beautiful view, or brave the crowd to go to the kiosks for a burger, wrap, pineapple cocktail, beer, etc... While you discover the area, we will prepare a cute picnic onboard before we continue our route.
- ✓Xatt l-Ahmar, whose name literally means “red beach” in Maltese, is located in the charming village of Ghajnsielem on the north coast of Gozo. Here we pamper ourselves a little with a natural face mask. Made with clay you can admire the nature around you as we harness the wonders of nature to cleanse and regenerate our facial skin. This remote location that offers a peaceful atmosphere both above and below the waves is perfect for free diving and swimming making it the ideal spot for those looking to escape the crowds. There is an abundance of aquatic life here and all kinds of fish species and other marine life are regularly spotted.
- ✓Many people don't realize that right around the bay of Blue Lagoon is another bay with crystal clear waters and bordered by high limestone cliffs. Due to the mostly sandy bottom at a depth of around 2-6 meters, the azure waters of the Crystal Lagoon are clear and create a beautiful palette of blue. Underneath the so-called, you can see the open void with a collapsed ceiling, allowing natural light to enter through a large skylight and reflect off the huge limestone blocks below.
