What you'll see & do

• ✓Enjoy one of the longest and most scenic oceanfront promenades in the world, stretching over 13 miles. We’ll cruise by iconic statues, artistic murals, and local fishermen at work. Feel free to hop out and snap pictures anytime — it’s your tour!
• ✓Get ready for one of Mazatlán’s most thrilling traditions! At El Clavadista, you'll witness local divers leap from a rocky platform over 45 feet (14 meters) high into the crashing waves below. The divers must wait for the exact moment when the tide is high enough to dive safely, all while standing barefoot on the edge of a sharp cliff with the wind and ocean roaring below. Here’s what makes this stop special: ✅ Adrenaline and tradition – Cliff diving in Mazatlán dates back to the 1960s and is performed by daring locals who’ve mastered the timing and risk. ✅ Perfect photo and video spot – You’ll be right next to the action with dramatic ocean backdrops, crashing waves, and the diver in midair. ✅ Scenic surroundings – This viewpoint also offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, nearby islands, and part of the Malecón. ✅ Optional tip to the divers – After the performance, it’s common to leave a small voluntary tip as a sign of appreciation for their brave art.
• ✓Angela Peralta Theater – We'll stop at this architectural gem, a neoclassical-style theater that dates back to the 1870s. It’s one of the most iconic cultural landmarks in Mazatlán, still hosting concerts and performances today. Plazuela Machado – One of the oldest plazas in the city, surrounded by cafés, galleries, and art. It's a perfect spot to get off the pulmonía for a quick walk, a drink, or photos under the shade of trees and string lights. Local Art & Murals – As we drive, you’ll see striking murals, small art studios, and colorful corners perfect for photos — details that are easy to miss in a large tour bus, but not in a pulmonía. Why a Pulmonía? Driving through these tight, lively streets in a pulmonía allows for a closer, more personal view of everything. Unlike enclosed vehicles, a pulmonía gives you 360° views, fresh air, and the freedom to stop spontaneously — for a photo, a café, or a story. It’s not just transportation — it’s part of the experience.
• ✓Want to experience a real Mexican market? Smell the fresh tortillas, see vibrant fruit stands, and maybe try some local treats. No pressure to buy — just a real look at daily life in Mazatlán.
• ✓Located in the heart of the city, the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is Mazatlán’s most important religious building. Completed in 1899, its neo-Gothic and Baroque architecture features twin towers, elegant arches, and stunning stained-glass windows. Inside, you'll find a peaceful atmosphere, intricate altars, and detailed artwork reflecting over a century of devotion. It's not just a church — it’s a symbol of Mazatlán’s heritage and faith. A brief stop here lets you appreciate local history, architecture, and culture in one beautiful visit.
• ✓Drive along Olas Altas Beach, a historic stretch loved by locals for its relaxed vibe and strong waves. Nearby, you'll find the fun Beatles Statue, where the Fab Four sit casually on a bench — perfect for photos! Don’t miss the Venadito Statue, symbol of Mazatlán ("Land of Deer"), proudly standing by the sea. Right along the coast is the saltwater pool, naturally filled by ocean waves — a favorite spot for locals to cool off. We'll also cruise down Ángel Flores Street, one of the most colorful and charming roads in the historic district, lined with colonial homes and lush trees. Each of these stops offers a piece of Mazatlán’s unique mix of art, history, and ocean life — all in one scenic ride.
• ✓El Faro is one of the highest natural lighthouses in the world, perched atop Cerro del Creston. The climb up offers incredible panoramic views of Mazatlán, the Pacific Ocean, and nearby islands. You can choose to climb the steps (about 300) for a breathtaking experience, or simply enjoy the view from the base and surrounding area. Whether you hike up or not, El Faro is a must-see for spectacular photo opportunities and a unique perspective of the city.
• ✓Located on Aquiles Serdán Avenue between Alejandro Quijano and Luis Zúñiga streets in the Historic Center, Las Changueras are local women who sell fresh seafood daily from early morning until evening. Their specialty is shrimp, offered fresh, dried, in cocktails, for aguachile, breaded, or ceviche. They also sell octopus, scallops, crab, smoked marlin, and fresh fish. This tradition started over 40 years ago when these women bought shrimp directly from fishermen using a tool called a “chango,” which inspired their name. Visitors love buying fresh shrimp here and often take it to nearby restaurants like Mariscos Dunia or El Ancla de Oro to have it cooked to their liking for a small fee. Las Changueras offer an authentic taste of Mazatlán’s coastal life and are a must-visit for fresh seafood lovers.
• ✓The Golden Zone (Zona Dorada) is Mazatlán’s lively beach area, famous for its long stretches of golden sand, clear waters, and vibrant atmosphere. Here you’ll find popular beaches perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports like jet skiing and paddleboarding. This area is also packed with restaurants, bars, shops, and resorts, offering a mix of local flavors and international cuisine. Whether you want to relax by the ocean, enjoy fresh seafood, or experience Mazatlán’s nightlife, the Golden Zone has it all. The beaches are family-friendly and safe, with plenty of spots to rent umbrellas and loungers. It’s the perfect place to soak up the sun and feel the heart of Mazatlán’s coastal charm.
• ✓During our city tour, we can also make an optional stop at Michael’s Gallery, one of Mazatlán’s most respected local art and silver shops. It’s a comfortable and welcoming place where visitors can browse at their own pace—there is absolutely no obligation to buy anything. Michael’s offers a curated selection of 100% Mexican made silver jewelry, handcrafted art pieces, ceramics, textiles, and unique souvenirs. Everything is guaranteed for authenticity and quality, so clients can shop with confidence if something catches their eye. The area around the gallery is also very pleasant to explore. Guests can simply enjoy the surroundings, look around, or relax, whatever they prefer. Our goal is always to give visitors a comfortable, no pressure experience, showing them some of the best local craftsmanship Mazatlán has to offer.
