Bogota Rent-a-Friend Tour
See Bogota through the eyes of a local by "renting a friend." With this alternative experience, you'll forego a typical guided tour in favor of a more casual experience with a local who can show you around the city or take you to spots you'd not likely see on a traditional tour.
Highlights
- ✓See Bogota like locals do, with a "friend" as your guide
- ✓Choose between 4-, 6-, and 8-hour packages
- ✓Packages with or without transportation are available
- ✓Private experience for just your party
What you'll see & do
- ✓(Historic Old Town): Recommended if you want the historic heart of Bogota: colonial streets, the landmarks around Plaza de Bolivar, and one of the best street art scenes in Latin America, with your friend telling you the stories and the artists behind the murals.
- ✓Recommended if you love food. This is where the city actually shops. Taste exotic fruits you have never seen, fresh juices, arepas, empanadas, and lechona, with your friend picking the good stalls and translating.
- ✓(Mercado de las Pulgas de Usaquén): Recommended on a Sunday. A leafy, cobblestone corner of Bogota with a lively artisan market, great for crafts, snacks, and people-watching.
- ✓Recommended if you want to go shopping, visit local brands, have cocktails or enjoy night life.
