San Francisco, Muir Woods Tour, Sausalito Half- or Full-Day
Your tour begins in Fisherman's Wharf, where you meet your guide and board your minibus. Over the course of the day, you get a look at the city's diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping at several locations to take beautiful photos and learn about the history of the city and current events through the eyes of a local. Travel through North Beach, also known as Little Italy, where sidewalk cafes line busy streets. See the markets and souvenir shops of Chinatown, and get a glimpse of Pacific Heights, one of the city's most affluent neighborhoods, where large homes have excellent views of San Francisco Bay. Keep an eye out for the house from "Mrs. Doubtfire." The adventure then continues across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods National Monument, where you have roughly an hour to stroll through the forest of towering ancient redwood trees. Then, if you've upgraded to the full-day tour, visit the scenic, seaside town of Sausalito for a lunch stop (own expense) and to soak in the scenery.
