Mazatlan Old Town Segway Tour
This guided Segway tour is the perfect way to see and learn about Mazatlan. Meet your guide at a central location and receive a safety briefing on operating your Segway. Then, set off after your guide, who takes you through Old Town and the waterfront. With a Segway, you’ll cover more distance than the typical walking tour. See the Clavadista, the cathedral, Plazuela Machado, and Olas Altas. Hear about the city’s history as you photograph the beautiful architecture. During the tour, get ready for a special sightseeing treat: a diving tradition in Mazatlan. At an oceanside park on the Malecon, watch daredevil divers try to time their jumps to take advantage of the greater water depth afforded by the incoming waves.

What you'll see & do
- ✓The tour begins and ends at Olas Altas. After training is competed part of the tour is on the boardwalk in our way to see the cliff divers.
- ✓One of the attractions is the Cathedral in the main square. Typically is one of the rest stops. Visiting is optional. Some guests prefer to go in and others stay in the plaza resting. Just ask Carlos "Charlie" your guide, and he will be happy to accommodate you.
- ✓Machado square is another stopping point in the center of Old Town. One of the city's most beautiful spaces, and the epicenter of Mazatlan's cultural renaissance.
- ✓The Cliff Divers perform at a location called "El Clavadista" as it is officially known. The tradition of cliff diving in Mazatlan dates from the mid 1900's when the platform that is still used today was constructed on the Malecon just north of Olas Altas Beach.
