Set in the former riverbed of River Turia, this awe-inspiring entertainment complex is largely the work of locally born star architect Santiago Calatrava. A cluster of six bone-white buildings that bring to mind the giant vertebrae of some prehistoric animal, the design appears both ancient and boldly futuristic.
