Your half-day scuba course will begin with convenient pickup at your hotel or the cruise port. Transfer to the dive shop to meet your PADI-certified instructor, who will guide you through the 3 to 4-hour course. Start with a course on diving theory, including the mechanics of breathing and an orientation to the gear you'll use. The dive course includes one open-water dive, accompanied by your instructor, where you'll explore the underwater world and get a feel for the sport.
