Make your own way to the central meeting location in the morning. Traveling aboard an air-conditioned coach, head west into the Scottish countryside to discover the dramatic scenery that served as the backdrop to the "Outlander" TV series. Stop to visit Midhope Castle, the filming location for Lallybroch, Jamie Fraser's home. Next, head to Doune Castle, which doubles up as Castle Leoch on-screen. Then, continue to the county of Fife to see the village of Culross, better known as "Cranesmuir," the village where Claire was accused of witchcraft. After lunch (own expense), spend time exploring Falkland, where the show’s Inverness scenes were shot, before continuing to other key Outlander sites, including Blackness Castle, or Fort William. After an Outlander-inspired day, return to Edinburgh, where your tour ends back on the Royal Mile.
