- ✓We begin the experience with pick-up from your selected location, depending on the option chosen at the time of booking. We offer service from a meeting point at the Gran Hotel Bolívar (Plaza San Martín), hotels in Miraflores, Barranco, and San Isidro, or directly from Jorge Chávez International Airport. Each option includes different services and levels of experience, so we recommend reviewing the details carefully before booking. Our first stop is the Park of Love in the exclusive district of Miraflores, an iconic spot with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Inspired by Barcelona’s Park Güell, it features the famous sculpture “El Beso” by Peruvian artist Víctor Delfín.
- ✓We then continue with a panoramic visit to Huaca Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial site of the Lima culture known for its impressive pre-Hispanic architecture.
- ✓Next, we explore Lima’s Historic Center, walking through its main streets and squares while discovering the essence of the former “City of Kings.” We visit the Plaza Mayor, surrounded by iconic landmarks such as Lima Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the Government Palace. Likewise, we will walk through the main square of Lima where our experienced guide will narrate the historical background of the old viceroyalty of Peru, we will appreciate the architectural monuments that surround the square, such as the cathedral of Lima, archiepiscopal palace, government palace. As soon as we finish our walk through the historic center, you will visit the chocomuseum, a museum store where it shows us the history of chocolate and cocoa in Peru, we can also taste its typical liquors and jams made from chocolate and cocoa.
