The journey continues to a mountain shepherd’s hut, known as a bacówka, where you will taste authentic oscypek cheese and learn how it is traditionally smoked over a wooden fire.Next, visit the local market at the foot of Gubałówka, where you can browse handmade crafts, wool products, and highlander souvenirs. Then take the scenic funicular railway up Gubałówka Hill to admire breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains.After returning to town, enjoy a walk along Krupówki, the lively main street of Zakopane, full of local shops, cafés, and restaurants. Optionally, you can join us for a visit to the historic cemetery of Pęksowy Brzyzek, where famous artists and mountain guides are buried, and to Jaszczurówka — a beautifully preserved wooden chapel built in the traditional Zakopane architectural style.
