Its site on the Niagara River's western shore overlooks the Horseshoe Falls, the cascades' most expansive section. Elevators take visitors to a lower, wetter vantage point behind the falls. A cliffside park features a promenade alongside 520-ft.-high Skylon Tower with an observation deck.

Warm Winter Clothing – Winter boots with good grip, warm layers, waterproof jacket, gloves (bring a spare pair—one may get wet at Journey Behind the Falls), and a hat.
Walking Requirements – Moderate walking required with short walks between attractions and stairs at some locations. Not wheelchair accessible due to winter conditions and terrain.
