The miners left dozens of sculptures and bas-reliefs cut out of the salt, keeping their work alive for many further years. There are 800 steps to climb, and 350 at the beginning take you down into the mine. There's a lift to the top of the mine at the end of the route.

- ✓If you choose a combination trip with Wieliczka Salt Mine, you will have a 1-hour lunch break before the second trip. The break could be in Oswiecim, Krakow or Wieliczka.
- ✓In the combination trip, you will also visit the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, 20 km from Krakow Old Town. The guide will lead you underground to the depths of the Mine, using hundreds of downward spiralling steps. Afterwards, you will return to the surface by lift/elevator.
