What you'll see & do
- ✓Will drop you off at Talos square on the west side of Chania old town. We are not allowed to walk or guide in the old town due to license restrictions. You will have around 2 hours available to walk on your own around in the picturesque alleys, explore the town, shop or have lunch.
- ✓Visit the Commonwealth Cemetery, its very well taken care of with nice view of Souda bay. Most soldiers buried date from the Battle of Crete in WW2 (20th May to 1st June 1941)
- ✓Enjoy panoramic view of Chania town.
- ✓Visit the archaeological excavations of the Minoan town of Chania (dating from 3000BC) at Kastelli hill
- ✓Visit the Grocery Store and have free tasting of olive oil, honey and other delicacies.
- ✓Optional visit of Etz Hayyim Synagogue in the old town, for those interested. Opening times vary depending on holidays and time of year. Weekends is closed.
- ✓This is a small fortress with panoramic view of Chania. Its the home of the Naval museum. It has the best view of the lighthouse and old town.
