Your evening walking tour of Salem starts when you meet your guide at the Old Town Hall. Salem has a notorious past and centuries of spooky stories but without a guide to bring this history to life (or death), you might mistake it for a regular town. And you really wouldn’t want to get lost after dark in Salem. Your guide will lead you through the town, recounting stories of murder, mystery, and the supernatural, and pointing out the landmarks associated with them. Be prepared for a fright as you’ll hear some truly chilling tales—and leave the kids at home. Unlike many other tours, this one doesn’t just focus on the famous Salem Witch Trials, and you’ll learn much more about the town’s frightening past. The tour ends at the Burying Point, from where you can make your own way back to your accommodation, if you dare.
