Our hiking trek takes you on a loop trail, starting from Aleko Hut and going as high as Cherni Vrah summit (2290m), then descending along a different path back to Aleko Hut. Starting from appr. 1750m. above sea level we first traverse the foot of Golyam Rezen Peak and Malak Rezen Peak. This stage is particularly scenic with constant views towards the capital Sofia, the Balkan Mountains, and the highest summits of the Rila Mountains far in the distance. Eventually, we arrive at Cherni Vrah Peak (2290m), where we will have a well-deserved rest. When descending down we will pass through the Torfeno Branishte (The Peat) Reserve, eventually arriving back to Aleko Hut.• Explore on foot one of the most beautiful Bulgarian Nature Parks • Climb Cherni Vruh peak (2290 m asl) • Admire beautiful natural alpine landscapes and rock formations • Photograph and adore rare and beautiful plants • Spot wild birds and mammals in their natural habitat

  • The guided tour starts from Vasil Levski Monument (Embassy of Slovakia)
  • Mount Vitosha is one of the most adored and visited mountain in Bulgaria. Explore one of the classic trails, starting from Aleko hut, climbing to Cherni Vrah peak and descending along a different path under the rock of Malak Rezen peak. You will cross typical for the mountain stone rivers, make your way close to the Peat Reserve and ascend to the highest peak. Throughout the way, your companions will be high mountain birds and their melodic songs. The alpine zone is home of the elusive Balkan Chamois (Wild Mountain Goat) and herds of Roe Deers. Along the way, you will have a chance to admire and photograph rare and beautiful flowers as the Vitosha Tulip and various orchids. The descending walk is equally astonishing with panoramic views of Vitosha’s dense forests, Sofia city and the Balkan Mountains outlining the horizon.
