This day trip combines Lake Bled with the Julian Alps of Triglav National Park. You leave at 8:30 from Dalmatinova 10, opposite the City Hotel, and start at Lake Bled: the optional pletna boat to the island church, the castle above the lake and a slice of Bled cream cake by the water. Then the road follows the Radovna Valley, under the north face of Mount Triglav, Slovenia's highest peak. You stop at Lake Jasna near Kranjska Gora, with its wooden pier and the bronze statue of the Zlatorog chamois, then walk the boardwalk at Zelenci, where the Sava river rises from turquoise springs. If you'd rather stay at the lake, choose the free afternoon at Bled, or add rafting or a zipline there instead. Up to 8 guests travel in a comfortable minivan, not a big coach, with a licensed local guide. Admissions are optional, so you only pay for the stops you choose, and we share the prices upfront. Run by Slovenia Explorer, official Gray Line Slovenia licensee since 2011. Who is this tour for?
