What you'll see & do
- ✓The guide and driver will pick up visitors at hotels 1 by 1 from 7 to 8, transfer to the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding for about 30 to 45 minutes. Visit the panda park for 2.5 to 3 hours by seeing over the pandas from tiny pink newborns to giants. Admire the adorable panda babies running around their play enclosures, laying in the pool, or climbing the trees.
- ✓Afterwards, drive to the historic Leshan Buddha by a ride of 2.5 hours on the expressway. After a quick lunch, sightseeing of the world's largest sitting Buddha statue which is about 71 meters high crafted out of a cliff face. If the situation allows, the guide will take you for a closer look at the Buddha's head and feet. Find out more about Buddism and local beliefs in the Lingyun Temple next to the Giant Buddha. After 2 hours visiting at Leshan Buddha, drive back to Chengdu, end the tour at the city center of Tianfu Square.
