Jaco Rainforest Hiking and Waterfalls Half-Day Tour
Take your pick of a morning or afternoon tour, and meet your guides at the main office in central Jaco. Bring your camera, which will be kept in a dry bag to keep it safe but handy for action shots. Ride a 4x4 up rugged mountain roads to reach the trail head at an elevation of more than 2,000 feet (610 meters). From here, hike into the rain forest to a river, while your guide points out native plant and animal life along the way. At the river, you can choose to walk along a trail or put your balancing skills to the test and hike upriver along rocks and boulders.
