The valley is a maze of lush greens within salt mines; The OURIKA Valley is one of the most beautiful and best preserved valleys in Morocco. Through OURIKA Valley is the OURIKA River, which begins in the High Atlas Mountains and runs down towards Marrakesh. The high Atlas excursion is great for those who want to see the beautiful splendour of the high Atlas Mountains without trekking to the summit. The trek begins at a Berber village called “SETTI FADMA” you will walk with a local guide for an hour or more until you get to the waterfalls of the valley. At this juncture there are 7cascades, which provide a resplendent place to take pictures. After get back you could have a drink by the river then lunch at a local Berber family house.
