They laid a rock in the Bay upon return from each successful voyage, and over time the small island emerged. Today, you can find the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks on the island. The church contains over 70 works of art, among them the ten-meters long, The Death of the Virgin. The island is accesible by a short boat ride. Alternatively, feel free to explore the town of Perast during your free time here.
